Who We Are

JHR is a 501(c)(3) organization that helps homeless men succeed in recovery from substance abuse by providing a network of therapeutic communities that includes: 

·  Safe and stable housing

·  Education and training to support recovery and employment goals.

·  Employment opportunities with businesses formed by JHR and employers in its network

JHR operates two recovery programs in Baltimore Carrington House – a 24 month transitional housing program for men in West Baltimore and JHR Shared Housing – a permanent housing program for men who have progressed in their recovery and are ready for independent living.

JHR has its own social enterprise program that provides job training experiences for its clients and income to support its programs.
