April 26, 2008 – JHR Celebrated Volunteer Appreciation Day!
To honor and celebrate all the volunteers who donate countless hours of support to JHR at Carrington House and the Homeless Shelters, JHR hosted an Ice Cream Social at Archbishop Curley High School on April 26th. JHR volunteers were treated to ice cream sundaes served by men from JHR Carrington House. A great time was had by all!
Some special recognition awards were given to the following JHR volunteers:
Paul Klein – for donating his time and talents in the Carrington House computer lab
Patsy’s Reading Club – for bringing great books and great food to the homeless at the Shelters and to the men at Carrington House
Archbishop Curley High School – for hosting monthly dinners for the men at Carrington House.
