Teaching skills for the 21st century

 

Carrington House needs volunteers to teach our men the skills  necessary to not just survive, but thrive.  Tutors are needed to both teach classes and mentor residents on a one-on-one basis. Class and mentorship schedules are flexible, contact us to find a time that will fit your schedule.

• Resume building/job applications

• Job searching techniques

•  Money management and budgeting

• Computer literacy-basic and advanced typing

• Specific occupational apprenticeship

• Home economic skills ( ex. cooking, sewing)
