On Tuesday, May 18th, JHR held an Open House event at the JHR Carrington House facility. The rain did not stop the many guests that came to Carrington House to learn more about the issues of homelessness and recovery. Every guest was guided along an educational and comprehensive tour of each of the programs and services that JHR provides to our clients.
The three floors of Carrington House were 'temporarily transformed' into all our locations.
JHR Homeless Resource Center: 1st. floor
Carrington House: 2nd floor
Lighthouse Community: 3rd. floor
Representatives from all our locations were on hand to meet and great guests, answer questions, and talk about all the services JHR provides.
The highlight of the event was the special recognition certificate that JHR received from Senator Barbara Mikulski’s office for our outstanding dedication and commitment to enriching and strengthening the lives of individuals and families in Baltimore City. Our deepest appreciation goes out to Michelle Brown who came out to represent the senator.
JHR would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation for all of those who attended and supported us with this project.
